CC4PJ is TEMPORARILY CLOSED: No Kings: This Is Chicago Exhibition Postponed Due to Air Quality Issues

Due to ongoing construction just two feet from our gallery, the air quality inside CC4PJ has been compromised. We’ve had to temporarily close the space for the past two weeks and postpone the opening of No Kings: This Is Chicago. We’re now awaiting proper cleanup before we can safely reopen.

“No Kings: This is Chicago” is a real-time photo show of Chicago photographers who are documenting resistance in the face of authoritarianism. This is grassroots journalism. Urgent art. A frontline witness to democracy. Photographers have to be in the streets, embedded in the communities we document, building trust, taking risks and consistently showing up. No paycheck. No newsroom. Just a camera, a conscience, and a commitment to truth.
