The Chicago Center for Photojournalism is a finalist for the CRG, the city grant is for capital improvements for the space with which the small business operates, we are working on implementing this incredible opportunity.

The Chicago Recovery Plan (CRP) is a citywide effort under Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot to catalyze a sustainable economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing federal and local funding sources, the CRP is making grants available for private investment projects based on community-driven priorities established through the 2022 City budget process. Public funding is intended to foster thriving and safe communities, as well as support an equitable economic recovery.

In November 2022, more than 60 neighborhood businesses and nonprofit organizations were awarded nearly $40 million in Community Development Grants as part of the CRP. Representing the third and final round of 2022 grant selections, projects were selected from more than 600 applications from earlier in the year.
